Membership

You can still add your name to the waitlist for 2026 by completing your registration for the 2025 season. There is no cost associated with being placed on the waitlist and you will be able to apply for membership before the general public.

2026 Membership

Registration for the 2026 WKPC membership will open on the dates posted above. You will need to use the email address associated with your Pickleball Canada account in order to gain access to the registration form. Email addresses will be added to the "White List" based on the schedule above. In other words if you do not qualify for the stage that is currently open don't bother trying as the system will not allow you access.

Membership Renewal Priority Stages

The renewal process will begin on January 4, 2026. Membership renewal will be conducted in eight distinct stages, with a four-day window between the opening of each stage. This staggered approach ensures that each group has a dedicated period to secure their membership.

Stage 1: Club Volunteers This stage is exclusively for active club volunteers who have contributed significantly to the club's operations and events over the past year. This is a token of gratitude for their dedication.

Opens: Day 1 of the renewal period (January 4, 2026).

Stage 2: Current West Kelowna Resident Members This stage is for all current members who are residents of West Kelowna. This priority is a direct acknowledgement of their contribution to the local tax base that supports the facilities.

Opens: Day 5 of the renewal period (January 8, 2026).

Stage 3: Other Current Members This stage is for all remaining current members who do not reside in West Kelowna. This group is essential to the club's community, and they are provided the next opportunity to renew.

Opens: Day 9 of the renewal period (January 12, 2026).

Stage 4: Current West Kelowna Members of the Shannon Lake Pickleball Group This stage is for current members of the affiliated Shannon Lake Pickleball Group, who are residents of West Kelowna. This priority is a direct acknowledgement of their contribution to the local tax base that supports the facilities.

Opens: Day 13 of the renewal period (January 16, 2026).

Stage 5: Other Current Members of the Shannon Lake Pickleball Group This stage is for all remaining affiliated Shannon Lake Pickleball Group members who do not reside in West Kelowna. This group is essential to the club's community, and they are provided the next opportunity to renew.

Opens: Day 17 of the renewal period (January 20, 2026).

Stage 6: West Kelowna Residents on the Waiting List This stage is for new applicants who reside in West Kelowna and were on the waiting list from the previous year. They will be given priority over non-residents on the waiting list.

Opens: Day 21 of the renewal period January 24, 2026).

Stage 7: Non-residents on the Waiting List This stage is for new applicants who do not reside in West Kelowna and were on the waiting list from the previous year.

Opens: Day 25 of the renewal period (January 28, 2026).

Stage 8: General Public The final stage is open to all new applicants who were not on the waiting list and any current members who did not renew their membership in the preceding stages. Membership will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached.

Opens: Day 29 of the renewal period (February 1, 2026).

All members are encouraged to renew their membership as early as possible within their designated stage to avoid missing the opportunity to join the club for the new season.

2026 Registration Fees:

West Kelowna Residents = $50

Non West Kelowna Residents = $75
